Before The Day

No booking is required as we operate on a first come first serve basis. Please note that at busy times a queueing system may be in operation.
Our photography hours are generally 10am - 5.15pm on the first day of photography. 9am - 5.15pm the rest of the week. Please note that the studio will close at 4.15pm on the last day of photography. (Lunch break every day approximately between 1pm - 2pm). Our hours are subject to change please call the Customer Service Hotline for confirmation.
The things to consider when choosing an outfit are:
1. Do I Want to Follow a Theme?
We recommend warm, rich colours when choosing an outfit, as they generally photograph best. Black and white clothing or denim jeans and a plain T-shirt also photograph well. Avoid wearing patterns especially when there are many subjects in the portrait as they can be too distracting.
PixiFoto have a large selection of props and costumes available to use, however, you may want to bring your child's favourite character outfit, for that special portrait.
2. Is it for a Particular Occasion?
We cater for all occasions including: sporting themes, engagements, hobbies, religious occasions & much more.
3. How do I Want my Portraits to Look?
When considering what to wear remember how you would like your portraits to look.
Formal/Traditional portraits are generally taken from the waist up.
Casual/Contemporary portraits are generally relaxed poses, which may include your whole body. So you are required to dress from head to toe.
Also you are required to remove your shoes so don't forget about your feet!
What to Bring
Don't forget to bring any important things that you would like to appear in the portrait eg: toys, costumes, Grandma, etc...
Bringing your child's favourite toy can help to make your child feel more at ease and you will have a beautiful memory to keep forever.
All persons under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. For safety reasons please stay seated beside your child at ALL TIMES.
The sitting takes around 15 minutes, however sitting times can vary depending on each customers needs.
